Rambutan

How are fresh fruits shipped from Colombo?

Like other fresh fruit exporters in Sri Lanka, Harvest Gate sends most fresh fruit by air freight from Bandaranaike International Airport, so it reaches the buyer while it is still fresh. Where the fruit and the route allow, it ships by sea from the Port of Colombo.

To export fruits from Sri Lanka, every consignment ships with a phytosanitary certificate and the documents the importing market requires, such as a certificate of origin, a packing list and a commercial invoice.
