Sri Lanka, historically known as Ceylon, has been the world's most celebrated producer of true cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) for over 2,000 years. The island's unique combination of tropical climate, rich soil, and traditional farming knowledge produces spices of unmatched aroma, purity, and flavour intensity.
Harvest Gate sources directly from certified growers across Sri Lanka's spice-growing regions — including Matale, Kandy, Galle, and Kalutara — ensuring full traceability and consistent quality in every shipment. All our spices are cleaned, sorted, and processed under hygienic conditions before export.
Ceylon Cinnamon
True Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) — the most prized cinnamon in the world, grown exclusively in Sri Lanka. Unlike cassia, Ceylon cinnamon has a delicate, sweet flavour with low coumarin levels, making it the preferred choice for premium food manufacturers, bakers, and health-conscious consumers globally.
